At college we’re doing a multi-camera project and for the project/show I will be sorting out the audio side of things and also doing the post-production graphics.
Yesterday I took a bit of time to come up with some rough ideas for graphics.
The video below is what we’d use as a teaser slot at the beginning of the show. There would be a voice over and bed, but I haven’t put these on yet.

Beauty & The Bassist – The Music Video by Me

For my Final Major Project (FMP) at college I have decided to produce a music video. The artists I am doing for are Beauty & The Bassist, also known as Matt Worthington and Vicky Kempson (you decide who’s the beauty).
I asked them to choose a song for me to use, and they gave me “I Already Know”. I’ve been working on the concept for the video for a few months now and today I finished the storyboard for the video.
So that I can show how the video has developed throughout production and also so Matt & Vicky know what to expect, I’ve turned that storyboard into a video with the track over the top.
Below is the second upload of the video, as the first seemed to be very low quality. Hopefully this one is better.

Over the past few years, a great free Christian based resource has been gathering pace in the USA; Church Media Design.
It is ran by a great guy called Brad Zimmerman who is based in the USA. He provides a weekly podcast with some great tutorials and freebies as well as some great sources of inspiration.
I can personally say that my Final Major Project at college has been influenced by an video that Brad played in an episode of CMD.tv.
Tomorrow (Wednesday 27th January 2010), Brad is revealing a new look website, branded CMD.tv 2.0, based on WordPress. Not sure of the time, but I can’t wait to see it!
