Social Networking has become a big part in the way society communicates. I’m currently working with Act II and Tulip Radio to give them both a presence on Facebook or Bebo.

Act II has a profile on both Bebo and Facebook which enables fans and participants of Act II’s productions to give thier personal views freely and safely.

Tulip Radio’s Facebook Page is now online! This allows Facebook users a place to get information about the station and also to comment on the broadcasting material. Most of the content produced on the page will be sourced directly from the main Tulip Radio website.

The latest craze has been ‘Twitter’ in which users communicate with others through 140 characters. Tulip Radio now has their own account of the site and is updated by ‘Tulipa the tulip’. This is a brand new form of communication for the station and will offer them an even bigger fan base. It also allows them another outlet to update users on their latest podcast, photos and weather updates.
