As many of you will know I’ve been testing out the Peter Dickson Pocket Announcer iPhone app for Quapps.
Recently one of the directors at Tulip Radio got an iPhone and he knew I’d received the app for testing so he wanted to know what it did.
So I hooked it up to our monitors in the radio studio and played him some sentences I’d made up. I added the beginning of a track by the artist, and hey presto, Peter Dickson had entered our radio studio!

How I Started Out In The World Of Radio…

Roughly six years ago, my friend Christopher won a competition to go on the pilot for the Tulip Radio Media Broadcasting Course. Since then, I’ve not left!
So my career in radio started six years ago. Today I found some CDs with recordings of my first shows on what was 87.9 Tulip Radio.
I did my first ever solo show on 29th April 2008 after doing a few years of co-presenting with Christopher.
