As part of the official opening of the Peterborough Regional College Broadway Media & Journalism Centre, I interviewed some of the key members of staff and sponsors that made the centre possible. The main guest of the evening was ‘The Royale Family’ & ‘Two Pints of Larger and a Packet of Crisps’ star Ralf Little.

The Sheep Of Indor – June 2010

As part of my BTEC National Diploma in Media Production at Peterborough Regional College, I created a short radio drama.

The drama joins characters from nursery rhymes as they explore the town of Indor. Little Bo Peep has lost her sheep and Jack & Jill, Mary and Geri the Woolmaker all help her reunite them.

The piece was recorded at the radio studios in the college’s Media & Journalism Centre.

BBC Radio 1′s Quiz of the Week with Vernon Kay

On Saturday 5th February 2011, I took part in the BBC Radio 1 Quiz of the Week, which was presented by Vernon Kay.

Myself and two of my friends from University went live on air to answer questions about the past week on Radio 1.

Vernon Kay took to David Gammon and got him to say his name on the radio and then played it over a song.

After Vernon got to know us, we went against the reigning champion. You can listen to the whole quiz here.

The Week That Was – Cross Rhythms

In September 2010 I joined the Cross Rhythms team. Shortly after joining I was asked to start producing a show which played some of the highlights from the past week. The show is put together on Friday morning and is broadcast that Sunday afternoon.
